CCC18 (18) - Ennis South Flood Relief Scheme

Construction of 2 No flood alleviation culverts in a congested urban environment along with service diversions. Upgrade of 1.5km of existing flood defence embankment with associated tie-in embankments, works to backdrains, sluice valves, construction of a new pumping station, piling (cast in situ concrete piles and sheet piling) and accommodation works. Works will be required within the Lower River Shannon SAC Natura 2000 site. This contract has been awarded to Ward & Burke Construction Ltd, Stradbally East, Kilcolgan, Co. Galway.
