MMP060C - RFT for Polling Information Cards, Dail Elections and Presidential Elections

The Office of Government Procurement (OGP) on behalf of the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. (the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this request for tenders (“RFT”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the supply of the goods as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Goods”)

 

In summary, the Goods comprise:

 

Item (1) The supply and delivery of approximately 4 million Polling Information Cards for Referendums as they occur.

 

Item (2) The supply and delivery of approximately 4 million Polling Information Cards for Dáil (General Elections) and other Elections as they occur.

 

The Polling Information Card informs registered electors of the date, time and place at which they are entitled to vote. Item (1) Polling Information Cards for Referendums also inform voters of the issue(s) they are being asked to vote on. 

 

Specifically, the scope comprises the following for Items (1) and (2):

 

Supply of all printing materials

 

Printing of Polling Information Cards in sprocket punched continuous stationery

 

Printing of Polling Information Cards in single sheet format

 

Delivery of the Polling Information Cards/the Goods in line with the delivery requirements specified at Appendix 1 to this RFT.

 

The objective of this RFT is to engage a single supplier for the supply of Items (1) and (2) as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT.

 

Sample Polling Information Cards are available to Tenderers for viewing in the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government at the Custom House, Dublin 1 between 21/07/2018 and 13/08/2018.   The viewing must be arranged by emailing franchise@housing.gov.ie.   Samples cannot be sent out in the post.
