SSB026C - Request for Tenders for the Provision of Stepdown Facility for Adult Females

The Minister for Justice and Equality (“the Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this request for tenders (“RFT”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the provision of the services as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Services”) to the Irish Prison Service and the Probation Service which are agencies of the Contracting Authority.

In summary, the Services comprise of the provision of a Stepdown Facility for adult females, with suitable fulltime accommodation and services to support those in the accommodation. The successful Tenderer is asked to provide and operate a building, with appropriate planning permission, which can deliver a self-catering Stepdown Facility for seven women offenders, plus a minimum of three further independent housing units which can act as a progression route to full independent living in the community.

This public procurement competition (the “Competition”) is being conducted by the Office of Government Procurement (“OGP”) on behalf of the Contracting Authority.
