Contract Award Notice - Establishment of eight Multi-Party framework for the provision of expert analytical services in support of SEAI’s Low Carbon Technologies Team

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), established by Government under the Sustainable Energy Act 2002, has a mission to play a leading role in transforming Ireland into a society based on sustainable energy structures, technologies and practices. The SEAI Low Carbon Technologies team delivers SEAI’s statistics, modelling, research, and behavioural economics functions, as well as technical support and research in the areas of bioenergy, wind and other renewable energies, energy efficiency, nZEB, and technical services to external and internal stakeholders. This RFT was to invite proposals from suitably qualified services providers to provide expert services in support of SEAI’s Low Carbon Technologies Team. This RFT was issued with the objective of concluding a total of eight Frameworks to establish frameworks of experts comprising categories or ‘Lots’, as follows: Lot 1: Policy analysis and research Lot 2: Behavioural Science and Counterfactual Impact Evaluation Lot 3: New Data Gathering and Data Presentation Lot 4: GIS (Geographic Information System): Mapping Development & Support Lot 5: Model validation, quality control and quality assurance (QAQC) Lot 6: Bioenergy and heat Lot 7: Built Environment Technical Support Lot 8: Provision of Training and Support to Public and Professional Bodies (in adopting SEAI Best Practice Methods) For more information, please refer to the RFT published on www.etenders.gov.ie
