ET1707 - RFT for Logistical Support Services for the RSA's Mobile Education Resources

The RSA wishes to procure logistical support services for its mobile education resources. StreetSmart and the RSA Interactive Shuttle are two such resources which are designed to bring road safety to life in a fun, interactive way. In 2017, StreetSmart visited 51 venues in the Republic of Ireland with 12,330 children taking part, while the Shuttle visited 150 events in the Republic of Ireland, with approx. 120,000 visitors going through it. The Successful Tenderer will be responsible for providing a complete fleet solution including appropriately qualified drivers to transport the StreetSmart equipment and the Shuttle Trailer Unit to locations throughout the Republic of Ireland. In addition, the drivers will be required to setup and dismantle the resources on site for each event. It should be noted that the Shuttle Unit is a Low Height Flat trailer, with a tri axle air suspension chassis, with a 950mm kingpin height, requiring a tractor unit with a 950mm high king pin pick-up plate.
