The scope of this Request for Tender (RFT) Document is to seek tenders for a Rapid Intervention Foam Tender (RIFT) for the Irish Defence Forces. This RFT applies to Medium Class Pumping Appliance

The appliance shall be constructed in accordance with the most recent edition of all parts of EN 1846 with a motor class of medium (M), all-terrain category (3), for water tender appliances with a seating capacity of 8, a tank capacity for firefighting water of 7,500l minimum an installed pump performance of 14bar delivering 3,000l/min and any subsequent amendments of same on the date this tender was advertised (unless specifically stated otherwise within this RFT).
