2630 - The phased replacement of ED Patient Trolleys including support, maintenance and training

Dear Tenderers,

The Contracting Authority, in the first instance, intends to establish a contract, of a four years duration, for the supply of patient trolleys for use in its Emergency Department.  It is proposed to procure these trolleys on a phased basis replacement.

Deadline for receipt of submissions is 21st March 2018 at 12:00 noon and deadline for clarifications is 17:00 p.m. 12th March 2018.

On the grounds of urgency, and in accordance with Article 27.3 of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is availing of shortened timescales in respect of this competition.  The urgency associated with this requirement arises from the fact that the required equipment will be used in an acute hospital setting.  On grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in respect of this competition.
