Call for Competition - Rolling Stock Pneumatic and Electro-Pneumatic Brake Equipment Overhauls
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced companies to participate in a tender process for the overhaul of rolling stock pneumatic and electro pneumatic brake components from its fleet of 22000 Intercity Railcars manufactured by Hyundai Rotem between 2007 and 2012.
IÉ have a requirement to overhaul in the region of 250 kits of brake equipment which will be overhauled over a period of 3 to 5 years.
The brake system components were manufactured by Knorr-Bremse.
Companies will have a demonstrable record in undertaking overhaul services on rolling stock pneumatic and electro pneumatic brake components, preferably manufactured by Knorr-Bremse.
Companies will also have a fully auditable supply chain for sourcing replacement parts of a safety critical nature.
