Cork County Council and Kerry County Council Public Lighting maintenance and new works Contract 2018.

Cork County Council and Kerry County Council have come together to prepare a joint tender for the maintenance of public lighting in each County.  This contract may include a limited number of LED Retrofit works and the installation of some New Lights.  It is proposed that following the award of the Contract, the works will be administered separately in each County thereafter with separate programmes of New Works/LED Retrofits and separate invoicing and supervision of the Works by each County.  

A situation may arise whereby a separate Contractor may, under a separate Regional Contract, be allowed to work on mass LED retrofit of lighting in each County, over the lifetime of this contract and such shall be facilitated by whoever is the successful tenderer under this maintenance contract.
