Introduction

The Defence Forces Corps of Engineers requires 4 no. small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). These systems are envisaged as lightweight, man portable rotary UAS that should be designed with ease of use, quality of imagery and integrated safety as their primary features. They will be used for a range of purposes within the Defence Forces such as surveillance, inspection and search and rescue by day and night. The precise applications envisaged for these systems is deemed operationally sensitive. 

Scope and extent of work

The specification covers supply, delivery to DFTC site, off-loading, testing, commissioning and training. The Supplier shall include the supply, delivery to site, testing and commissioning. This  covers from acceptance by the Corps of Engineers, of the following equipment, and described in detail throughout this specification.

Options

Tenderers may offer more than one option and can specify such in their return within the table below. Options can be for different airframes, batteries or payloads or difference combinations of each.
