The Contracting Authority is seeking to establish a multi-party framework agreement for integrated design team services for building conservation and ancillary services at Grangegorman. The notional initial contract will be for the building conservation and adaptive re-use of the Clock Tower. The multi-party framework agreement of integrated design teams will be established comprising the following Principal Service Providers:
(a) Conservation Architect Services (incl. design team lead)
(b) Civil & Structural Engineering Services,
(c) Quantity Surveying Services,
(d) Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
Only those Applicants capable of delivering all of the services listed above without exception (whether in-house or as a grouping/consortium or by relying on the resources of another party or parties) will be considered. Therefore, applications relating to one or several of these disciplines but not all are not acceptable and will be rejected.
The Integrated Design Team will be responsible for providing conservation consultancy services (including a review and evaluation of previous GDA Conservation programmes), surveying, design, procurement and administration of works related to historic and/or protected structures, buildings, boundary walls, tunnels etc located on or connected to the Grangegorman site on an individual project basis.
The maximum estimated value of professional services over the lifetime of the framework is in the region of €35,000 to €4,500,000 (ex VAT).
The framework agreement will be established with up to three (3) economic operators, subject to the receipt of a sufficient number of valid tenders.
The framework will be established for a period of four (4) years. For the avoidance of doubt, the period for delivery of any contracts awarded under the framework may extend beyond that date of expiry of the framework agreement.
