170519 UCC Clerk of Works - Establishment of a Multi Supplier Framework of Clerk of Works for UCC Buildings & Estates Office in 2 no Lots & Appointment of Clerk of Works for UCC working on Various Projects

This Tender is to establish multi supplier frameworks with a maximum of Five (5) participants (for each Lot) in 2 no Lots (the “Framework”) to whom specific contracts may be awarded on a non-exclusive basis based on the terms of a framework agreement (the “Framework Agreement”), a copy of which will be issued with the tender documents. Lot 1 - Clerk of Works with a Civil/ Structural/ Architectural background with an in depth working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Services. Lot 2 -Clerk of Works with a Mechanical/Electrical background with an in depth working knowledge of Civil/ Structural/ Architectural. The Framework Agreements will be established on foot of competitive tenders received for the award of the initial contracts for the provision a Clerk of Works services working on Various Projects for UCC Buildings & Estates Office (the “Initial Contract”). Candidates for each Lot will be invited to tender and to submit their suitability assessment questionnaires and priced submissions. The Candidates submission will be in two parts. Part 1 will contain the completed Suitability Assessment Questionnaires and all associated supporting documents. The first part will be assessed on a Pass/ Fail basis, failure of the candidates to meet the minimum requirements of the Pass/Fail criterion will result in the candidate’s elimination from the process. Part 2 -Candidates who pass Part 1 will proceed to Part 2 The tenders will be evaluated under the Most Economically Advantageous Tender against criterion set out further on in this document.
