IBTS/013/2017 - Virology Instrumentation / Equipment and Test Kits

A fully automated system(s) for screening blood donation serum or plasma samples for the presence of antigen/antibody to Human Immunodeficiency viruses (HIV Ag/Ab), antibody to Hepatitis C virus (anti-HCV), antibody to Hepatitis B core (anti-HBc), Hepatitis B surface Antigen (HBsAg), antibody to Human T-Lymphotropic virus type I and II (anti-HTLV-I / II), and antibody to Treponema Pallidum (Syphilis) (approximately 145,000 donations/samples per year). In addition, selected donations are screened for antibody to Cytomegalovirus (anti-CMV) (up to 116,000 donations per year but subject to review).
