Dear Tenderers,

The Contracting Authority requires a hire service for the provision of mattresses, seating system (cushions) and bariatric products for pressure care needs.  Relevant information, including Invitation to Tender and editable Pricing Schedule, Specification of Requirements, Form of Tender and ESPD are available for download on www.etenders.gov.ie.

On the grounds of urgency, and in accordance with the provision of Articles 29(1) and 28(6)(a) of Directive 2014/24/EU, the Contracting Authority is employing shortened timescales for the conduct of this competition.  This course of action is justified on the basis of the strategic significance of this equipment to the Contracting Authority, the need to safeguard patient safety and the impending expiry of the Contracting Authority's existing contractual arrangements in respect of this service.
