Following from the Public Realm Strategy that was launched by Dublin City Council in 2012, the Council subsequently launched ‘The Heart of Dublin, City Centre Public Realm Master plan’, in September 2016. This master plan sets out an ambitious programme of works to be undertaken over the coming years. The master plans objective is to achieve a consistent high quality public realm and pedestrian friendly experience across the city centre core. Dublin City Council and its partners (Dublin Local Authorties) wish to invite tenderers for the purpose of forming a multi party framework agreement to support the delivery of these projects and other public realm and parks projects as they arise. Successful tenderers may subsequently be invited to tender in mini-competitions for individual draw downs of the framework agreement as they arise. It is envisaged that the number of integrated design teams on the Framework will be a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10. To support the delivery of these and other public realm works, Dublin City Council in partnership with Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council & Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council, is tenderers from suitably qualified tenderers with a view to establishing a multi-party framework agreement for integrated design team services for four years, with initial contract for the refurbishment of the public realm at Blind Quay, Dublin 2. This framework agreement is also expected to support the delivery of other significant public realm master plans or significant landscape and urbanism studies and strategies over the time of its operation. The overall value of the framework agreement is not expected to exceed €4,000,000.00 over the life time of the agreement.
