2072 - IDA Ireland Athenry Strategic Site Infrastructure Works - Road Works Phase 2

The site is in the townland of Ballygarraun, Athenry, Co. Galway. The works are a continuation of the Phase 1 roadworks that were completed in 2010. Phase 1 links the M6 Motorway and regional Road R348. Phase 2 will extend northwards from the R348 and will include the following, along with other works: - Single carriageway over 600m in length; - Footway / Cycleway of varying widths and length; - A roundabout; - A road over rail bridge; - A road over road bridge; - Earthworks; - Fencing; - Safety barrier systems and parapets; - Drainage; - Signing and lining; - Lighting; - Works for statutory authorities; - Private and public utlities inclusive of diversion works; - Ducting and chambers; - Accommodation works and water supplies.
