National Contract for the Storage and Distribution of Disposable Continence Products

 HSE 7113

 The HSE wishes to establish a new national contract with a suitably qualified Service Provider for the provision of a Storage and Distribution Service for Disposable Continence Products to Service User’s/Clients residence, healthcare facilities and HSE logistics distribution centres nationwide, along with a Customer Support Centre in the Republic of Ireland (hereafter “Distribution Contractor”).

 The scope of the contract will be to provide storage and distribution of disposable continence products and support services to HSE Service Users/Clients (hereafter Service Users) in the Republic of Ireland.

 The process includes the Irish Public Health System (HSE), Organisations funded by the HSE and the Irish Public Sector.

 1.       Health Service Executive (including organisations funded/contracted by the HSE)

2.       Service Users funded by the HSE in residential organisations (e.g. private nursing homes)

3.       Irish Public Sector Departments and organisations.

 The HSE is now seeking Expressions of Interest from companies (which may be independent companies, a joint venture or a consortium) who wish to be considered by the HSE for this contract.   The HSE will shortlist companies based on an evaluation of the Expressions of Interest received.  Any company who is not shortlisted will be excluded from further participation in this procurement process. 

 Further details on the extent of service required and conditions to be managed will be made available to companies who are shortlisted following the receipt of Expressions of Interest.

The contract will be for 36 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months at 12 monthly intervals. 

 A separate tender process is being conducted for the National Contract for the Provision of Continence Products.
