The Private Security Authority seeks the services of firms who wish to be considered for selection as the provider of the following services; The successful Service Provider will be expected to provide the Authority with a comprehensive range of advice and risk assessment covering all operational aspects of the Cash in Transit (CIT) industry with particular reference on the following: a) Review and assess the risk assessment(s) of each provider, drawing from existing audits, self-reported compliance with PSA technical operational requirements (hereinafter referred to as TOR) and site visits; b) Review and advise on the progress made by the providers in achieving compliance with TOR taking into account the specific risk assessment of each provider; c) In light of compliance with technical requirements, review and advise on the cash holding limits of each provider and d) Make recommendations to the PSA on the level of compliance with licensing. e) Assist the PSA in any reviews or up-dating of TOR taking into account developments in technology and the modus-operandi of criminality as it relates to the CIT industry at an international level. f) Assist the PSA in carrying out any investigation it may conduct as they relate to the CIT sector. g) Inform the PSA of international developments relevant to the CIT industry, TOR, and PSA licensing of the sector. Knowledge and understanding of the operation of CIT security, the banking sector, international best practice, crime prevention measures to minimise risk of attack, vehicle operators, the contribution of union representatives and the PSA are essential requirements for this position.
