47 Forster Street, Galway - Architect led Lead Consultants with an integrated Design Team for all Consulting Services for renovation and construction project at 47 Forster Street, Galway

The project proposes the refurbishment, alterations and extension at 47 Forster Street. The existing building was formerly used a Convent of Mercy and it is proposed to be used as a centre to provide refuge and support services for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. This project is generally as set out in the Galway City Council; Grant of Planning Permission, ref: 13/342 dated 15/6/2016 but is to be developed subsequently in design brief and scope of works as set out by COPE Galway. It will comprise of 9 housing/accommodation units, office, meeting rooms and communal spaces and a range of facilities for children ranging in age from 0 to 18 years.
