6437 - Supply of Dampers for Rolling Stock

This is a call to competition by IE for the procurement of the supply of both new and/or overhauled suspension dampers (the “Contract”). With respect to the overhauled dampers IE will consider dampers from other operators which have been suitably overhauled, or alternatively the overhauling of IE's dampers as part of a Service Contract. The dampers to which this PQQ and resulting tender refer are fitted to the following vehicles in IE’s rail fleet: 201, 071, 2600, 2800, 22000. As a result of this PQQ Iarnród Éireann intend to invite tenders for the supply of both new and overhauled suspension dampers. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a comprehensive warranty and warranty support as agreed by contract.
