The National Paediatric Hospital Development Board is procuring equipment for the New Children's Hospital. Strategic procurement options are being considered. EOI are invited from advisory service providers to explore the potential for Managed Equipment Service (MES) as a sourcing strategy and if proven, to implement procurement strategy to successful conclusion. The procurement of healthcare technology is the responsibility of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB). The NPHDB is tasked to Design, Build and Equip a new National Paediatric Hospital to accommodate the merged paediatric services from three hospitals: Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin; Children’s University Hospital Temple Street and National Children’s Hospital Tallaght. The quantum of equipment has been defined by the Design Brief in consultation with user groups and the NPHDB is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced healthcare advisory teams with technology, financial, legal and procurement expertise, experienced in identification and evaluation of sourcing strategies and solutions for healthcare technology procurement to include opportunities for a potential managed equipment services (MES). The advisory team will be required to identify the optimum equipment groups/lots and a sourcing solution business case strategy, endorsed by stakeholder groups for shareholder approval to implement.
