Commerce Replacement, Integration & Supply Platforms

OSi intends to appoint a Systems Integrator to develop and deploy a COTS-based replacement for their existing, heavily bespoke and end-of-life Commerce and Supply capabilities including integration with back end financial system and data stores.Given the maturity of solutions in the market place offering an e-Commerce capability, OSi expects Tenderers to propose an economical replacement system to act as a Baseline Commerce Platform that will either be COTS-based/On- premise, COTS-based/Hosted or fully Software-as-a-Service. Summarily satisfactory replacements must consider: • A modern user experience for commerce covering all of OSi's Online and Offline channels; • Development of an automated Supply platform; • Integration with existing in-house systems; In addition to the Baseline Commerce Platform, OSi requires the Contractor to develop a replacement Supply Platform whose responsibility it is to fulfil Orders in priority order according to sales channel, product type, priorities and business calendar. The Supply Platform will utilise existing Geospatial Repositories and Services as raw data input and must also, where applicable, be based upon software OSi already possesses or based on a cost-effective COTS platform. Furthermore, OSi requires the Contractor to provide an experienced and skilled Agile delivery team that will work alongside OSi’s Project Lead, Domain Experts and Developers to iteratively improve the Baseline Commerce Platform and to develop the Supply platform
