Met Éireann's Web/App - Redesign of Met Éireann's website and mobile applications, and their hosting.
Met Éireann is seeking suitable parties for the redesign, development, implementation and the hosting of a responsive website and two mobile Apps (Android and iOS). The tender will include a Content Management System (CMS) which can be edited within Met Éireann. It is intended that this competition will result in a service contract between Met Éireann and its preferred provider, for the provision of the hosting and maintenance of the website, Apps and CMS outlined in the Request For Tender (RFT) and its accompanying appendices. The duration of the hosting element of the contract will be for five (5) years.

Met Éireann is undertaking a restricted approach in selecting a company to be responsible for the development of the www.met.ie responsive website, an Android app and an iOS app. This company will also be responsible for the hosting and maintenance of the website and apps. The restricted procedure will consist of two (2) stages. The PQQ will produce a shortlist of vendors based on their responses. The second stage will be the issuing of an RFT to the shortlisted companies.
