Fire WAN - Nationwide Fire Stations IP Based Wide Area Network Infrastructure

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

The national fire service is seeking a complete upgrade to the national ICT infrastructure. Munster Regional Communications Centre (managed by Limerick City and County Council) on behalf of the fire service nationally is seeking to procure a new nationwide IP-based wide area network (WAN) infrastructure this will provide connectivity between the three current Regional Communications Centres (RCCs) and over 200 fire stations, supported by a 5-year maintenance support for the infrastructure. An option is also required (although separate to the initial procurement) to extend this provision with the successful supplier to include a resilient WAN network between the three RCCs. Provision of this option will not exclude the contracting authority from procuring via alternative routes if deemed a better value-for-money approach. In order to be considered for inclusion on the tender list for either lot, the applicant must demonstrate that they have met all of the minimum selection requirements. Following evaluation of their Questionnaire response and having attained an acceptable evaluation score, applicants may then be invited to tender for the project.
