Re: Acre Project, Salesian Collage – Celbridge – Supply of Garden and Farm Machinery  

Dear Sir/Madam,

You are invited to tender for the supply of Garden and Farm Machinery    for the Acre Project Salesian Collage, Celbridge Co Kildare.

The ACRE Project (A Community Rethinking its Environment) is an eco-friendly community based project on a site on the Maynooth Road in Celbridge. The project provides internal and external spaces in which local communities can gather and use. It’s focus is on the following core elements:

·         a creative space for the community to gather and engage;

·         an interactive setting where people can learn about ecology and  environmental living;

·         a structured setting where young people can meet and grow;

·         non-formal education through the medium of horticulture and the creative arts.

The project is part funded by the Leader Partnership (Kildare Office). As part of their requirements it is necessary to advertise the procurement of these items on e- tenders;

The successful Contractor shall note that they will be required to enter into a ‘Fixed Price Contract’ with the Acre Project. The Tenderer is required to complete the tender Summary sheet as set out below:

Completed tenders are required to be submitted to the office of Walsh Associates, 296 A, Block D, Beechwood Court, Stillorgan, Co Dublin by not later than 3pm on Friday 21 June 2013 in a sealed envelope marked ‘Tender for Supply of Garden and Farm Machinery  – Acre Project Celbridge”

The price should remain open for acceptance for 90 days. The goods will be required to be delivered to site in April 2014.

Please note that the lowest tenderer shall not necessarily be accepted but the contract will be awarded in accordance with the most economically advantageous tender having regard to price, period for completion and technical merit.
