Landscaping - Tender for Grass Maintenance Service Contract for City and County of Limerick

Tenders are invited for grass cutting and trimming in public open spaces in housing estates, amenity areas, graveyards and other landscaped areas at the locations identified in the attached schedule, (Schedule A), for the growing season in 2013. The total area included in this schedule is divided between five separate cutting areas: Limerick County Council Areas - 54.642ha in East Limerick Cutting Area which includes 35.756ha; marked as provisional (these areas are denoted by an asterix); - 21.018ha in West Limerick Cutting Area which includes 16.142ha; marked as provisional (these areas are denoted by an asterix); - 29.637ha in Castletroy Cutting Area which includes 16.374ha; marked as provisional (these areas are denoted by an asterix); Limerick City Council Areas - 10.054ha in Caherdavin Cutting Area and - 91.032ha in Limerick City Environs Area. A final decision on the cut area for this tender will be made by Limerick County Council’s Horticulture Section for areas identified as Limerick County Council Areas and by Limerick City Council’s Parks Department for areas identified as Limerick City Council Areas, having regard to both their available resources for the 2013 cutting season, in advance of the commencement of this service contract.
